Panasonic tapes: mixing MQs and PQs...

So I'm well aware that mixing different brands of tapes is bad fot the camera heads, but what about Panasonic MQs and PQs? My understanding is that they are very similar and that mixing them is not a big deal...I'm thinking of switching over to MQs because I've been getting audio dropouts occasionally with the PQs...

Any thoughts?

Agreed...I don't know if I would switch to just any Panny tape you can find at walmart but PQs and MQs are proline tapes.

If you are getting audio drop outs you might want to get your heads professionaly cleaned.

Just a thought.
