I still have a bunch of MQs left, but since they have stopped making them, what should I switch to? the PQs? The more expensive master quality MQs?

I've always used PQs and have been happy with them. I've been using them for over 2 years and have easily shot over 200 tapes

they didn't stop making MQs. they are just called Advanced Master Tapes now and they are grey instead of white and blue. has something to do with HDV compatabilities or something:

if you look closely you'll see that they still retain the MQ name but it's at the end
of the product identifier instead of the beginning.

I've had better luck with the mqs than the pqs. For some reason, my dvx seems to have more fits with them, and really I can't explain why.
