As they say on TV "your mileage may vary". AND it depends on quantity.

You should always get a break on a box of 50 from anyone.

The best quoted prices I have received in writing were from B&H and EVS. Please note that I was also including the tape in with other items too, including a camera.

AMQ tapes are great i would black each tape before reuse. i think you can reuse a tape as many times as you just reblack each time.

I only reuse BTS footage tapes, not production tapes and my rule for when I will stop using them is when the dropped frame number gets too high. What would be too high? I would say 5 for me. In an hour of random BTS footage, I dont mind losing 5 frames, but if I lose that many it would indicate a problem to me and I would retire the tape.

I'm currently getting ZERO dropped frame on tapes reused about 20 times.
