Panasonic will have a live announcement for a new camera (or more?) at 2pm US Eastern Time on May 13. This is the link to see the live announcement:


Panasonic has given no clues to what this announcement might be, but the buzz is that it will be an L-mount cinema camera. And it might be more than one camera, and it might include one or more lens. Just tossing it out there for those interested in such things.
 
S1II, S1IIE and a 24-60mm lens.

Don't think I saw 8K in any of the specs, but had the usual good features that someone might like if definitely not buying Canon or Sony.
