Panasonic GH3 Debut Viideo

Is that Philip Bloom at 2:47???? Looks like it to me! Regardless. I have a feeling this camera is going to ROCK IT! Please, for the love of all things living, UNCOMPRESSED HDMI OUT 422 8/bit

Yes, definitely was. Would be great to have a filmmakers perspective on the new camera right after announcement, vs. waiting for it to fall into the hands of the consumers!
Like Golf, but only funner.

Well still see rolling shutter in the train shot with girl. Expected. I think we just have to live with the RS these days.....

So...I was never a photographer before I started shooting video a few years ago. What advantages are there to a mirrorless camera?

Have all the specs been released yet?

Global shutter may end up being the final frontier.

Anyway, sadly, I keep missing the GH bandwagon due to timing. The GH3 may not be available for my next project, and by the time I would need it, I'll already have something else. ANy improvements on the GH2 makes a compelling tool.

Pardon me, I need to change my pants and get a smoke.

Man that looks so awesome! This just shows that panny really reads what people are saying on forums and blogs, this camera is going to rock my world!

One thing only, if it is weather sealed, that means that we don't have the flip out screen any longer since that would be vulnerable when flipped out... Dosen't matter for me but just a thought!

really nice footage. Is it just me or rolling shutter has not been improved? I see the same old RS on handheld shots as the GH2

Flip out LCD appears to still be a feature.

Check out the last section of the reveal video, which starts at about 2:20. There are several shots which show the LCD flipped out to the left side of the camera body for monitoring.
