Panasonic GF2

[lowlight]

Apparently Panasonic are to announce a successor to the GF1 this week. I am very interested to see what video capabilites will be implemented in this new camera. Perhaps the 24mbps bitrate will be carried over from the GH2. It would be nice if 25p was offered at 24mbps even if it was only at 720.

I've read some rumors stating that it would carry the same 14 megapixel sensor as the G2 and It would be "the smallest m4/3 camera yet." Not sure what I think about it. With the GH2 being so cheap and already available, why would I want such a small m4/3 camera if it means cutting back on quality? A smaller form factor camera doesn't make my lenses any shorter.. :-(
