panasonic dvcam model number?

[bilgami]

im looking for the panasonic shoulder mount cam it was the rival to the dsr 250 but i can recall what the panasonic version was called. can someone tell me what it was. i think it was something like ag-dv 5000 or aj maybe?

[HorseFilms]

Was it the DVC200?

[Luis Caffesse]

I believe the 5000 is a JVC cam.
Not sure of the Panasonic model number you're talking about though.

dvc 200

dvc 200

maybe it was the 200 after all.

[bilgami]

also does anyone know if the pv-dv953 and the gs400 have rca ins/outs to output to a monitor?

[bilgami]

I need a 2nd cam is the dvc30 a good 2nd cam to back up my 80 for broll and such.

[HorseFilms]

I would say that the dvc30 would be a perfect backup for the 80. I have yet to hear anything bad about the 30, to be honest.

[bilgami]

Dvc30

Dvc30

Thats good to hear. ive been looking for a 953 but hard to find and expensive or the gs400 would be a good buy but the gs400 and dvc30 r close in price also so i figure pay a lil more for the better cam. im sure the 30 gives a good picture like the 80 if not better.

[HorseFilms]

It won't beat the 80, since the 30 has 1/4" chips, but I hear it's quite good.
