We are trying to capture HD-D5 footage to FCP using a Decklink Extreme. The VTR checks out fine, the card is working, but no audio or video into FCP. Can see video and audio on an HD monitor, but not in FCP. Apple says it doesn't support the VTR - so no help there. Somebody out there must be capturing using D-5 tapes and give us some direction - I hope!
Problem solved. Tapes were labeled PSF when in fact they were not. Decklink card was set to PSF, thus the problem.:furious3:
