Panasonic ag-dv1

Does any have any experience with the Panasonic AG-DV1 DC? I searched the web and the forums here but I have found very little info regarding this. It seems to be a pretty neat gadget. (Basically it is a mini dv deck with a 3 1/2" lcd monitor and has been described as the back half of a dvx100.)

I would like to know if this was a good product when it was produced and how much they went for.

I have an opportunity to purchase one and would love some insight if anyone has some scoop!

I looked at the "other camera" forum but didn't find a place where this question belongs.

This is NOT a camera. It is a mini dv deck. I guess it is EXTREMELY RARE because I can't seem to find anyone who has ever owned one of these. I have found a couple of overseas vendors who used to sell them and I found a couple of OLD dvxuser threads that mention the ag-dv1dc.

I don't know how to go about deleting a thread... but this is a dead end and is just taking up space. Feel free to delete or instruct me how to delete.

Or better yet.... If anyone has any experience with this deck, I would love to hear what they thought about it.
