I recon an expresscard reader for a laptop would be the fastest. Other than that I think there's only usb 2 readers for now.

Right, but the USB readers have different offload speeds.

I haven't had any issues yet with the PNY class 10 cards that's been used on the GH1 and NX5. B&H have recently lowered the price of the 16GB ones to 29.95.
