Pan, Tilt and Zoom Control

Hi there,

Our church has two DVX100 cameras and one Canon XL-1 camera that we use during the sermon.

We are in need of some type of remote control Pan/Tilt/Zoom system that we can fit to the tripods to allow us to centrally control the cameras (sometimes it is difficult to get volunteers to operate the cameras - we end up running all over the place :( )

We don't have a specific budget for this, but I guess anywhere up to $500 US
per unit would be the max we can spend.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

We're based in South Africa, so I would need either a local supplier or a company that can take my order online.

I would recommend a Bescor pan tilt zoom head. They're not real fast, but I don't think you'd need that kind of response. I think most of the big online retailers will have them, and I think they're within your budget.

I don't know about the retailer, but that looks like the correct device. You will still need a zoom/focus controller for the camera, but that will fit within your budget.
