I just received a new MVH502AH from B&H. The pan feels like it has detents or bumps in it every 20 degrees or so. They are very distinct. I find this unusable. Is this some strange feature I can turn off or is this unit defective? The pan lock is loose and the detents are present at various drag levels.
Yes, I know the 502 is weird with the lock and drag on the wrong sides. But for my application, I'm willing to deal with it.
