I've got a bit of a complex problem:
I created a PAL sequence (we'll call this Sequence A) for a client. In the sequence is almost entirely PAL footage.
Then, I created an NTSC sequence (Sequence B). In this sequence is entirely NTSC footage.
I've made a DVD of each of these. No problem. Now my client wants me to make a DVD with both. Actually, I explained that DVDs have to be either PAL or NTSC and he wants one of each.
I tried exporting sequence A and using compressor to convert it to NTSC. This worked, to an extent. I get these really awful interlacing lines throughout the whole thing and a nasty flicker. I haven't burned the PAL DVD but I assume the converted sequence B would do the same thing. I deinterlaced sequence A and converted it again, but the result, while better, isn't great. I'm currently converting sequence A with a flicker filter on it, but I don't expect that to help any more.
Is there anything I can do to get both on the same DVD and look decent?
