Just a quick question guys & girls can Prem Pro or Prem 6.5 output to DVD in the PAL format when the original footage has been recorded in NTSC?

If not whats the best software to use to convert NTSC to PAL

The short answer is yes it can.

In Adobe Premiere Pro, first select all your edited clips in the timeline (click on the Timeline & press CTRL+A) Select File=>Export=>Export To DVD.

The Export To DVD window should appear. Click on the "Encoding" section. At the top you will see a pull-down menu/combo box just next to the word "Preset". Click on the down arrow & select any of the PAL presets. I would select the highest quality (PAL DV 4x3 High Quality 7MB CBR 1 Pass) so that the DVD will be of best quality.

Under "Export Range", you can leave the setting to Entire Sequence.

If you originally recorded your source footage using the progressive mode, then you can select "None" next to the "Fields" pull down menu below. If you originally recorded your source footage using the interlace mode, then select "lower fields first".

Check the summary to ensure all the settings are what you want & hit the "Record" button.

Hope this helps.
