What type of paint woul look nice when say your shooting a bed room scene and would like a red color on you white walls..what type of paint would be best?
 
Hi, other than the obvious answer of paining them a darkish red, I would look at maybe
using some gelled lighting as a solution, or maybe even something in post?
 
If the red color is movie blood, use 5/6ths cherry syrup to 1/6th chocolate syrup and cool it in a fridge to cause it to run slowly on the walls.

If you just want paint, any good interior latex of the color you need, and in the style (flat, semi-gloss, gloss) you want.
