PAGE FLIP effect! NEED HELP!

Does anyone know how to do a page flip effect in AE?

I'm trying to do a page flip effect in AE. Go to this site: www.designattic.com

Under the "MOTION/VIDEO" section it's the first video titled "CB: EDUCATION INITIATIVE (INTRO)" look at the page flip there...


I also read on creative cow tutorial, if this is the same page flip effect, you need the installer disk to get that plug-in, unfortunately i dont have the original disk anymore. So take a look at the example and please give me some input! If anything, can some one send me that page flip plug-in?

I don't know how to do this in AE, and I don't think it can be done without some sort of plug-in. Several video-editing programs have "page-flip" as a transition. You could try that.

I did a similar effect in a project, but I used a 3D program (Maya).
 
Thanks MiniMan13, but as i said before above, it tells you that you need a certain plug-in that comes with the installer disc, unfortunately i do not have the installer here anymore. So if anyone has the installer disk, if you could please send me the plug-in via email, PM me and ill give you my email adress...

yeah, you shouldn't ask for plug-ins here...if you don't have the install disk it probably means you pirated it and that's kinda frowned upon here...
 
Corner pin will stretch and skew the image, but it can't move in a 3D space (it's a 2D effect), and it can't flex in a non-linear fashion.

I own the Production Studio Pro, and I don't remember seeing a plug-in that came with it that did what you are wanting. The only bonus plug-ins I recall were Color Finesse and Keylight.

EDIT - OK, I was wrong. There is a plugin that does it called CC Page Flip (or Page turn).

Go this site- videocopilot.net and it has lots of great tutorials- one of them is how to do a page flip effect.

the CCpage flip is from Cy Core Effects. they do come with the production studio pro, and are also useable within PPRO, as most AE filters are. i think that PPRO has its own page flip effect aside from the Cy Core one though, its under the video transitions. both page peel, and page turn are available in PPR0 2.0
 
Yeah, I put an "Edit" on my other comment. I do have those filters and they came with my studio package. I forgot I even had them, because I have only really used the CC Toner plugin. I need to explore those other Cycore plugins, because they seem pretty good.
