Anyone know much about this? Recently, ever since I brough a couple of MP3's into the project (voice overs I paid an artist for), Vegas will crash & quit responding. I'll notice it's always after opening a browser, then coming back to it ... it'll just lock up.
But, when I open Windows Task Manager and check performance, the PAGE FILE USAGE HISTORY is through the stinkin' roof! Normally in the past, Vegas would have it up around 300-500 MB ... now, with this particular project it's average around 1GB, and at one point when I was trying to close the crashed project (not responding), it went clear up to 2.5GB, causing an EXTREMELY unstable system.
I've since defrag'd my disk with Norton, but it's doing it again today. What could be in this project that's causing such an issue? I just tested my short film project, which had over 20 audio & video tracks, and it's fine ... still hanging around 500MB ... then I open up this luxury home tour I'm doing and it ratchets to over 1GB!!
