Packin C-stands

Hello Listers,

By mistake, I ordered a couple of 40" C-Stands without removable bases.....dumb. With the bases attached, they are pretty big. It wasn't worth returning them, and I can always use them for some things as sometimes a nice heavy stand fits the task. If any of you have similar stands, how do you pack them around? I couldn't find any standard cases or bags that will work and had considered fabricating something that would hold 4, and go in the back of a pickup. Any other great ideas, I'm all ears.

It depends what you have. On set they can be piled up on rolling carts designed to hold them, I don't remember what those are called, and in a grip truck you can build a couple of pegs on the side to hold them in transit. If you need to carry them around you have to be creative about it, or more likely avoid bringing them.
