Iv'e been asked to come up with a rate for a project with a company I have been interning for free for the past 6 months. My supervisor wants a package rate for editing down five 30 min of interviews down to 2 minutes for each interview clip. A total of five 2 min videos. I am realitively new to freelancing and don't want to overcharge. In the past I charged $20/hr because I figured im not as efficient as a professional editor would be. Just need an estimate from those who have worked out a package rate before any work was started. I figure each interview would take me about 6-8 hours to complete (after sifiting through the footage, editing it down, re-edits, sfx, music, mastering, rendering,...etc)
