when i try to import mxf files from my hard drive through log and transfer i can't select them. However if i select file>import>files i can import them.
i have been shooting 720/30pn with an hvx170. using a mac with P2CMS to copy from P2 card to hard drive. i have been told by many that you MUST copy the last clip.txt file when dragging the contents folder from card to drive, BUT i trusted that P2CMS would copy everything needed for use of the files.
one person who i worked for had no problem importing the files from the same drive. i think he was using FCP 5 .
did i make a big mistake by not copying the last clip.txt file?
I am wondering if i might have some thing disabled or i need to update something?
I am new to both FCP 6 and P2 so any thoughts would be greatly appreciated
