Has anyone tried using the P2 store to offload P2 cards to a notebook without installing the P2 drivers?
I am capable of using the HVX in USB device mode to offload my P2 cards without installing anything at all on the notebook. This is important because I'm running GNU/Linux on the laptop, and there isn't any P2 drivers for Linux (yet?).
My hope is that I can buy a P2 Store so that I can offload P2 cards onto my notebook without tying up the camera in the process.
The camera itself is just recognized as a Universal Mass Storage device under Linux, and I can therefore transfer the cards without difficulty. Can anyone confirm this is the case with the P2 Store as well?
