P2 select won't open

hi
i have AMD 3500+ (2.21) on XP pro SP2 1.5G RAM
my Edius is the 4.02

i have few MXF on my HDD that were shoot in P2.

the Edius won't open the P2 select because:

the system requierment is illegal. unable to start



any suggestions how to import the MXF's (is it just better hardware needed?)
 
1. I would upgrade to 4.03 or later (4.24 is the current version).
2. Make sure you have Panasonic's P2 Viewer installed. I think there is a dependency on it.
 
i have the P2 viewer plus HVX/P2 drivers for PC.
i have the update (4.24) but it seems to be a whole different version. is it?
can i DL it from Canopus/Grass Vally?
 
V4.24 is a free upgrade, you can download it from Canopus' website. You have to register both as a user, and you also have to register your Edius after creating your login if you haven't done so yet.
 
sorry for the misunderstanding (i'm usualy on Avid), but...
the upgrade claims that i have a different Edius version...

???
I do have Edius 4. can it be Serial/dongle problem?
can Procoder somehow can read MXF? and save me a lot of time?
I just want to convert MXF (720p 50fps) to QT...
