P2 footage into CS6 when clip spanns 2 P2 cards. Is there a way without using P2CMS?

Ok this already might have been answered here but I don't know.

Ok, so I am using CS6 from FCP. I love the way I can point the media browser at the location and away I go. However when I have a spanned clip then things change. Aside from butting up the 2 clips and not using P2CMS (which I would prefer, however I can only see one clip unless I spin down each folder in Media browser, unless I missed something to see all clips when looking at P2CMS using Adobe media browser?) How can I do this? Do-sent happen ofter, but I should learn how to do this correct the first time...

1. Copy the entire P2 card to your hard drive first using a simple file browser (Windows Explorer or Finder). Don't use any special software for this. Don't delete, move or rename anything.

2. Use the Media Browser to navigate to that folder. Drill down a level or two and your clips will show up. PP understands spanned files and will automatically see them as one clip.

What about verify? Is there a preference that can be turned on so it can be checked?

I import clips from P2 cards using ShotPut Pro to a raid, then use PremierPro media browser to import the clips. Most of the time I have a clip spanning 2 cards but it always imports without any problems.

When I use P2CMS I know when its finished that all the data is there correct (verify). If I just drag and drop I have no verify process, and once I wipe the cards if something goes wrong thats it. I will look at ShotPut and see what it offers.

You shouldn't need a verify function. You copy the top level folder and Windows Explorer makes sure it all comes over.
