P2 Firmware Install

Got my HVX today...Yay!

HPxw9300 (Axio system) with no P2 slots; no notebook PC immediately available; how exactly is the P2 card firmware update accomplished?

Searched DVXuser archives and found nothing about this.

Can the HVX with cards inserted and connected via USB2.0 to a PC be seen as a USB device? Would that work? Don't have any other "card readers" easily available (but could get one.)

P2 firmware upgrade - figured it out

Never mind...got it. Press and hold media select button till it switches to PC (cam set to USB mode). Got the drivers installed and newest P2 firmware from Panasonic site installed.
