I've been shooting P2 for years and lately I've had clients that want the option to edit with iMoive. Sounds simple, I used FCP to make the DVCPRO HD clips and then I used Compressor to make an Apple Intermediate Codec, 1280 x 720. When I tested this for the client the file would not use open in iMovie. It had to be re-imported and then the aspect ratio was changed.
Please let me know which Codec to use in Apple compressor to have the file just open in iMovie. I shot 24fps, is that an issue?
