P2 card issue: accidentaly formatted a card with spanning media

So I've never done anything like this before. I accidentally formatted a card with media i hadn't dumped yet.!! i know i know. i hate myself too. but the second card has the continuation of the spanned media across card 1 and 2. so card 1 is lost, card 2 i have, but with an incomplete file. am i screwed? there's no way to recover the media from the card i formatted is there? i seriously doubt it. i reshot what i needed anyway, but i'm worried about this second half of the clip. cause i need it.... grrr

Panasonic Service can recover it. Write-protect the card and don't touch it again, send it off to Panasonic, and for a small service fee they've recovered footage from other folks before, so they likely will be able to recover yours.
