I got a problem with finding my p2 card in my laptop! When i install p2 drivers for the pc-cardslot that fits p2 it doesnt happen so much. It just blink and sound familiar windows sound "bling" like it's something wrong and the dialog box "install" "cancell shows up again! But if i then choose cancel and reboot i se a p2 symbol in windows taskbar....but i cant find the p2 card... also i have installed p2 wiever but that installation worked nice.

Any heros here?

Have you tried connecting it through the USB DEVICE MODE through the HVX itself? Maybe a pcmcia problem, thatd be a first step to finding out.

Man that was a fast reply=)
Yeah, I tried first with usb and i didn't get it to work so i tried the pcmcia and that didn't work. Then i relized you have to put the camera to usb instead of firewire (i thought the camera did this by it self...) so usb worked fine=)

But I'm going to try to get the pcmica port to work.

The P2 card works with my panasonic AG-HVX200E and my laptop find other pc-card units that i plugin so i think it’s the drivers that is the problem. I used the P2 pc-card drivers that i got with the camera and i have also downloaded and installed P2 wiever (if this helps).

Now i probely know the problem! I tested the p2 in some laptops and i got an HP so i tested it in another hp and it didn't work. Then i tested it in a ibm laptop and worked instanlty! Today i called HP to sort things out and they say they don't have 8 gig support on their pcmcia ports!!

Maby p2 support will be an issue on more computer brands as the p2 will grow bigger each gear!!!
