P2 Bug and FCP 5.1.4

So, is anyone still having trouble importing footage into FCP with the P2 Import window, now that the 5.1.4 update is out?
 
Yes. I think my issue is related to the fact that the camera I am working with is running firmware v 1.03, not 2.03. When they are done with the shoot I will update the firmware and shoot some tests.
 
I really highly doubt FCP's problems have anything to do with the camera's firmware. It just doesn't fit the pattern I've been following. But post and let us know if it changes anything.

I never updated my HVX, don't know why I would. Much less how to do it on a Mac. From what I understand, if I don't have access to a PC, I can't run Panny's firmware update. Which is weird since most HVX users are Mac users.
 
No problem with FCP 5.1.3/4,
the firmware update doesn't need an external PC or Mac, if I'm not wrong just dl the firmware update and put the file on a SD card, then from the Property menu update it!
