I'm looking into upgrading from my DVX and since RED is out if my league, its time to give the HVX another look.

Where did you buy 92 cards and how much were they? For you, are they worth it?

I got a package including the P2 Store and 2 x 4Gb cards. It rocks. I'm intrigued by the Firestore, but feel safer with the solid state (and you can't presently record variable frame rates natively to the FS).

But you'll be able to get the cards anywhere they're selling the camera - and I'm pretty sure they're essential.

where did you get this package at?

I must have found the holy grail then, 'cause I just bought two 4 giggos from Showcase in Atlanta (www.showcaseinc.com). I also bought my cameras there and I know they still have some in stock. If you call them, ask for Kenny.

unless you're looking for 8 gig cards. You'd have better luck finding the Holy Grail first.
