P2 Audio out of sync in Timeline

I've been pretty much beating my brains out on this one:

After transferring clips into FCP from HVX 200 P2 cards and putting the clips on the timeline, the audio is out of sync by 10 frames (early). Here's the mystery:

-In the camera it plays in perfect sync
-In the log and transfer window it plays in perfect sync
-In the Timeline, Viewer or Canvas windows it's out of sync
-If I use the "Send to Soundtrack Pro" command it plays in perfect sync in STP

I'm on the latest version of all pertinent apps (FCS2)

Anybody have an idea of what the problem is?
 
Maybe another way to collect data points on this is to ask who *isn't* having this problem. Lots of people I would assume. So...if you're importing HVX200 P2 720/24pn or 720/30pn clips into Final Cut 6.x without any mysterious audio sync issues cropping up once you're in the timeline, could you please let me know? And if so what other major system pieces do you have (type of Mac, OS, etc.)? At least then I might have some hope for finding a solution...

I'm running 10.5.5 on a dual 2.7 G5.
