P+S comes to the party late?

I saw this puppy at NAB 05......
If I remember correctly, it was about 4k and you could see cross hairs in the view finder....
it was an interesting concept used for directors to set up the shots
 
I saw this product back in '99 (available since '97-"98? I can't remember). Meet the "grandpa" of the mini35. Since "99, its GG started rotating (Mini35 300 series) and then oscillating (400 and Pro).

Hey Dan...

do you remember if the image was right side up. I thought I remembered the image was not flipped........interesting to know how they would make that work in that little box when the mini35 is much bigger than its little brother
 
I don't remember (sorry...) I know was meant for smaller camcorders (back in those days). There might be mirror and a pentaprism inside (with an up right image) and since the GG is not moving, the size is right for what it does.
