"But... that would mean he isn't taking part in the whole, um, Christmas thing. He isn't standing around a warm, glowing fireplace with his friends or relatives, reminiscing about how things THIS year were better than all the other years before. He isn't singing cheerful carols with drunken neighbors, forgiving them all their lovable foibles which tend to annoy him most of the time. No sir. No hot toddie for Mr. Scrooge, eh?"

"That's right, Jimmy. Your powers of perception never cease to amaze me."

"Why, what ever could be the problem then? Christmas is a time for happy thoughts..."

"Yeah Jimmy. I have a happy thought forming in my mind right now."

"And what would that be?"

"I'd rather not say, Jimmy."

"Oh c'mon! Share your happy thoughts with everyone."

"SURE you do. Is it bigger than a bread box?"

Ya - just put my boys down at 10pm after our church service and now my wife is off to play at the midnight service!!

She won't be back until 1ish.

I'm going to try to catch Santa on film this year.  Two years ago all I got were gifts moving across the floor.  Last year he must have bumped the camera because you see it jitter and then all you see is a hat passing back and forth in front of the camera!

This time I'm going to get him for SURE!

Well, well...

So at least I am honest here..and did not just log on as a GUEST, fess up all of you!!

I do have a video obsession problem and am confessing that publicy on Christmas morning.

After editing like a maniac for several days straight, up until 4:30 PM on the 24th..I had a very fortunate holiday. I soon fell asleep ( due to the all nighters spent editing, and thus I could not possibly go to church). After that, I watched the rest of Barry's DVD on my portable DVD player while sitting in bed.

there..that is my contribution to the "P-A-T-H-E-T-C" thread. I will be terribly embarrassed later, if I end up the thread killer on this, so please, indulge us with your honesty...

Pooh, you cant be the thread killer. I have always felt (and am fairly certain) that THAT title does, in fact, belong to me. Sometimes, I dont post something, simply because it is a good thread and I know if I did post, it would die. Just like fish and houseplants. An uncanny, other worldly gift bestowed upon me for reasons unknown.

BUT, I have gone to my mom's for Christmas, and I packed Barry's DVD, his book, and both my NLE handbooks. Have shot a short involving the scary bathroom here, and am already thinking of music tracks for it. And its not even lunchtime, Christmas Day here. :P

I'm at work today... All day long!

If ya can't be with the family, might as well get that double time!

I'm working today as well. My business has made hooking up with the family impossible this year. Now before you get all sappy and all, it is really not a big deal in my case. my family is close so it can be done in a few days. No biggie. So I will be on board today and NOT feel bad about it!  ;D

Because... Sniff... you guys... sob... are like... whimper... family to me.  :'(
