OWC QX2 12TB raid not showing up inside Premiere's Media Browser

Trying to bring a project over from FCP7 via XML, but it seems that our new OWC QX2 12TB raid is not showing up in Premiere's Media Browser.
The drive is mounted on the desktop and functions fine. What's strange is that files can be imported into a Premiere Pro project vis the import dialogue, and function fine
in Premiere.
Because an XML input requires relinking to media, the fact that the Raid does not show up in the Media Browser negates the possibility of doing a relink not to mention
the ability to import from camera specific directories.
Has anyone else experienced this with larger sized Raid storage?

I am running Premiere Pro CC 2014 newest updates applied on Mac using OS X 10.10 Yosemite

I literally had the same exact problem last week with a 4TB OWC Raid.
Adobe is saying that it's an issue with OWC, but I have a hard time believing that seeing as no other piece of software seems to have an issue.

In the end the only way I found to fix the issue was to move everything off the raid and reformat it.
Somehow that fixed the problem.

There is a thread on the Adobe site about this here:

To be clear, you should reformat the drive with disk utility if you can (not the OWC software).
At least that's what worked for me.

I ran into the same problem and, like Luis said, reformatting using Disk Utility fixes the issue. Since the OWC box is a hardware RAID you just reformat it like you would any other drive (you don't use any of the RAID options in Disk Utility).
