Overunity device?

Yes, I know all about the laws of thermodynamics, but I've been following these Steorn guys for a while with distant curiosity and it seems like they are still at it. They just started a public demo and have live cams of what they claim is a working device. I find it hard to believe these guys would still be at this for so long if they didn't have SOMETHING going on. If they are con men they are certainly the most slickly produced and professional hucksters in the whole OU field I've ever seen. It's most likely not going to pan out but imagine 'what if'. What if somebody does find a way to get free energy, how many problems on Earth would be solved.

I've come up with various ideas for free energy, most of which would work theoretically, but I'm unable to develop them do to lack of funds. Two are mechanical and the third is solid state.

I'll believe it when a bunch of smart scientists not from this company tells me it's true... cause I have no friggin' clue what he's saying in those videos. Just sounds like mumbo jumbo.

I saw a special on perpetual motion, and they investigated several claims of free energy. Most of them were just very efficient machines that died down after a while, or kept going to due sunlight or wind or other external factors. None of them could prove they were actually perpetual... Oh and mythbusters also disproved a lot of claims.

So to me perpetual motion/free energy (not the kind by harnessing radio waves, which is real), is in the same category as Santa Claus and the tooth fairy. But hey, what do I know? So for something to actually create energy from nothing... well...

Also, con men aren't just Nigerian Princes. The good ones put on a good show with professionalism.

Did you hear about the cell phones they're coming out with that recharge using radio waves?

No doubt there's a million reasons to be dubious. There's just something about these guys that's a little different than the thousands of shabbily thrown together OU claims on the internet. Doesn't mean they're real, just intriguing.

Fascinating - didn't realize they were still at it.... first heard about it when it was posted here 3 years ago.

Hm... who knows.
