Oversaturation

I wanna try a few tests with some footage I shot of friends..i wanna try to mimmick the oversaturated look like in those few scenes in the Butterfly Effect.

i remember seeing the movie a while ago and in the special features...they said they used AE to CC those scenes.

Does anyone kno how I culd go about getting that look without having weird artifacts form cuz of the red color tone problem on Mini DV? I tried jus boosting the saturation and the people looked like they had really bad sunburns.

If you have 6.5, use Color Finesse. It's a fantastic CC, and its included for free.
It will give you much more control than just basic saturation
