Overriding auto shutter speed?

First aim the camera at your subject. Then add or remove enough light so the exposure is correct. Then, listen carefully, slowly drop superglue into the small cracks between the camera case. Wait a few minutes... voila! Everything is locked down. No more auto anything.

Dude just check it out... How much was that cam? My first was a TRV17 and it was around $900 back in the day... and even that cam could do manual shutter speeds. Get in the menu and see what's what.

If you can't even change the shutter on it then I say you got yourself a "dangercam".

What? We need a shot with a cam riding inside of a hamster ball? Better get the dangercam.
