I have client who wants an outtakes section added to there project. I was looking for the film leader blip noise you sometimes see in movie outtakes. Does anyone have a web site I could download it from. I already tried Limewire but no luck.
Typically that beep you hear is done on production. Every time they cut a scene, the production mixer will usually put a single or two quick beeps on the end of each take. They do this so when they tapes go to telecine, it's easy for the telecine operator to fast forward through the takes, and they can count the beeps to know which takes they are on.
Make sure you have the "Cue Blip on Out" and Cue Blip on 2" checkboxes checked.
Lay it in your timeline then unlock audio/video and delete the video track - then edit audio track down to just the blip ----
Done.
Sorry - not familiar with other edit programs.
I could edit the blip for you and email it if you like. PM me if you like.
