Outstanding Brevis work from Stillmotion.ca

The title says it all. The crew from stillmotion.ca are now officially the world's largest users of the Brevis35 adapter with a virtual fleet of cameras and Brevis35 adapters. The wedding work they've done with the Brevis has garnered them a WEVA award, and the same footage is now being used in a national ad campaign by Canon. We've posted up five short clips of their latest professional work, as well as a gallery of production stills.

Happy Thanksgiving :-)

yes, good stuff.
But which camera, which lenses, which crane and all the other stuff...

I really like the Brevis blurr. The exchangeable ground glass seems to be a good idea.
Well - I just bought the Letus Extreme...
First test footage looks good, too.

Patrick is incredibly busy, but I've given him a head's up to check in on the threads. I know they've got a good collection of Canon EOS and FD lenses. The crane was a Kessler, but these guys are going to be the first users of our jib and crane system .... stay tuned.

Sorry to threadjack but I've been trying to reach you like a mad man, Dennis. Please check your cinevate pms asap.

Thanks for the comments guys. I personally shoot weddings and corp work with an all Canon EOS lens set. Main lenses are a 100mm macro f2.8, 90mm f2.8 TS, 135 f2, and a 50 f1.4 which rarely gets used. Tony has an all nikon set and uses the 85 f1.4 and 50 f1.8 a lot.

Cameras were all the Canon A1 shot in HDV, edited in FCP with wuite a bit of color work.

Patrick, thanks for chiming in. Rawf, I'll check those pms. An email to sales at cinevate.com or better yet, a phone call during business hours are the best bets for a quick contact.

What do you do about aperture adjustments with the EF lenses? Do you take an EOS camera with you into the field? Do you leave the lens wide open? Or go out with a preset aperture - Like 2.8?

I have the 100mm macro, 50 1.4, and a 28 1.8. I am surprised you don't use the 50 as it is by far my favorite lens on my camera. What do you use on the shorter end?

Thanks!
