Outputting HDV in Vegas

Need tips....I have a Vegas 6 project of cfhd codec encoded clips on an HDV timeline. Playback during editing is very good.
Now I am ready to export a DVD, and wondering the fastest settings to use...I would asume the HDV template (.m2t file) is the best quality, but a 3 minute video of mostly cuts only (no fx) takes over an hour to render to that codec.
Is there a faster way??

And for preview on the timeline, what is the best setting for prerender? HD intermediate, or ???

thanks

I assume you're outputting to DVD in SD mode? If so, just take your HD timeline, and render to the SD MPEG template. That's it.

LOL, I *just* left Atlanta. Well, Alpharetta anyway.
We usually do Atlanta every year at least once.
Don't miss the Vegas classes at NAB, or watch for us on the next Vegas tour, which will probably make it thru Atlanta in 2006.
