Outputing audio from FCX w/ embedded timecode for edit in Protools

I am running FCX HD and I have to output my audio so I can fix it in ProTools. Is there any way to embed timecode in it so that when I re-import it into FCX, I know where to cut the video to match? I know I can always just try to sync it up with how I think it looks, but I would be much easier if I could just match the timecode.

If not, is there a way to do this in FCP 5? I have access to a FCP5 machine and I could get a copy of my project on it just for exporting the audio. Any help is much appreciated.

I.m a newby when it comes to protools, so take this with a grain of salt- but I think that it should work.

Protools will let you load video when you are working in it, so from FCP export a QT file that has the audio you want to work with. Then open it in PT and edit away, save, and re-import into FCP. just dump the video track.

(I'm sure there is a better way ...)
