Just out of curiosity, after filming, editing and all that great stuff, how do you output everything into a vhs tape? (note: while i'm on the subject, does anyone know what a 1/2'' vhs tape is?)

Well, you could loop out of your camera or DV deck to a VHS deck and record out of your NLE's timeline to both at the same time.
Or, you could dub from a DV master tape in your camera or DV deck to a VHS deck.
VHS tape is 1/2" wide.
