output to TV-monitor with Parhelia?

i am just testing vegas (being a spedrazor user for long) and i would like an output to my PAL-screen instead of the PC.
i do not have a analogue - DV box and don´t wanna have my cam running for hours.
would a triplehead card like the matrox parhelia allow an output straight to the monitor like in Blade?

Not 100% sure, but I don't think the software allows for it.

It shouldn't hurt your cam at all. You're not using the heads or any other moving parts. You're just using it as a passthrough.

There's been a lot of discussion about using parhelia cards for monitor output over on the Sony Vegas forum. Best to ask over there, I don't know what the outcome of the discussion was.
