when the target medium is the european tv. is there a visual difference in SD between the XDCAM ex (pmw 350/320) and a IMX camcorder or betacam?
i heard the sharpness of the downconverted HD footage is better than nativ SD footage.
but imx and betacam is both 4:2:2 and has lot better compression for that resolution.
is the best way for SD production really a good old SD cam? i dont know for what i need HD for youtube and SD tv products?
