Output Quicktimes to Hard drive for PC

Hi There

I am transferring some HD Quicktimes from FCP version 5.5 using powerbook G4 Mac and want to end up on a Hard drive for PC for use in an Avid how do I go about this?

What version of Avid? If it's MC5, just output in ProRes. If it's an older Avid, install the free DNxHD codecs from the Avid site. They work great for going into Avid (PC or MAC) or most other PC programs too.
