I need some advise: I am looking to run some online competition. It will be of 2-3 minutes video.
In terms of uploading and viewing online afterwards I know it should be compressed in small size as much as possible, to keep acceptable quality, say something about 10 megs for 3 mins or so.
My question is: what is the best format should be? (QuickTime? or something else?)
Also, I pretty much concern the following:
a) prevent some viruses to be spreaded with a file;
b) to be easy way for competitors to convert their original work into;
c) keep a quality lossless as much as possible.
What is the modern solution of it right now? (except the YouTubes solution)
