Output for Tradeshow HD display

We have a video we want to show on a HD display at a tradeshow. The content was shot in HD as well. I am trying to find my options for best picture quality since we cannot make an HD DVD/Bluray disc?

Should we hook up an Apple laptop to the display and play a looping Quicktime movie? Will it appear full screen or will we see the desktop?

Or should I output to HDV and place it on tape and hook a camera up to the display through HDMI and play it that way?

Any suggestions about how to have the best possible imae on an HD display would be appreciated. The file right now is an HD Quicktime file.

How long is your video? If it's under 30 minutes you can encode it as HD-DVD in Compressor and it will fit on a DVD-5 (regular DVD). I can playback these discs on my MacBook Pro, however I needed to upgrade to HD-DVD set top player for my television.

Okay that sounds like an idea. The video is around 5-10 minutes so I could just make this on Compressor and DVD Studio Pro right? And the DVD player on any Mac laptop can play it?

The other way I was going to go is to encode a Windows Media version that was HD resolution and have them play the file on their PC laptop. Does that sound like an alternative as well?

"Yes" to your first question.

I've had very little experience with the Windows Media HD codec. They one time we used it we had to run it off the computers local drive due to the high date rates.
