output for theater question

I have a private screening at a theater and am trying to figure out what my best output option is:

w/ the dvx100a i shot 24p (non-native) on a 29.97 timeline. on a de-interlaced monitor it is very jaggy, while on an interlaced monitor it is not...i understand that this is normal. i'm wondering what will give me the best resolution and smoothest play when it is projected onto a large screen.

my options:

1. 24fps dvd (from doing a reverse telecine in compressor). w/ this i loose resolution, but might solve the jaggy problem i would potentially have w/ a projector and big screen.

2. print back to mini-dv in 29.97 - w/ this option, since mini-dv is interlaced, does that mean it will project as interlaced? or are there going to be some intense jaggys?
mini-dv cannot handle a 24fps print can it?

any thoughts would be extremely helpful.

1) You don't lose resolution with a reverse telecine. You would if you were de-interlacing.

2) Yes, miniDV is written as an interlaced signal, so it will project that way.

What kind of projector are you going out to? Is it even capable of displaying 24fps without adding a pulldown? If not, then you don't need to change anything.
