Output audio to TV?

Okay, maybe this has been asked and answered here long ago, but I can't find it.

I've got Vegas Pro 8.0c. I have my miniDV camcorder connected via firewire, using it to output from the Vegas timeline to a connected TV.

Why can't I get audio on the TV? I have to either listen via speakers or headphone connected to the computer.

I don't have this problem with Premiere 6.0 -- same computer, same camcorder, same TV.

Any solutions?

Vegas previews only video. Listen through your computer speakers.

You might, however, have to change the Synch Offset in the Preview options to get the sound to synch with the picture.
