Output and Compression settings?

I am using FCP 6 and am not very familiar with the compressor that is offered. I have shot all my footage in 1080i, 60i. I was wondering what the best settings are to use to get the best picture on dvd?

Also if you can, please explain how to's about the Compressor for FCP 6.
