Finding the best compression settings for various projects is kicking my butt, are there any sites or forums out there dedicated to in depth discussion of output and compression? maybe some guy that sat down, tested all the different codecs with various settings, and has in depth explanations of which one is best for what scenario? Any good books that might shed some light on the subject?
This subforum is helpful, but I'm basically asking about dedicated in depth how-to types of sites.
